Erik's career in hospitality began in 1978 with ITT Sheraton where he held numerous positions at its Boston headquarters. Then, as Area Controller in Seattle, he oversaw financial functions of several properties in that region before joining Red Lions Hotels and Inns as Vice President/Controller. In 2007, he was named General Manager of the Moana Surfrider having relocated from the 2,265-room Walt Disney World Swan Dolphin Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, where he was the General Manager.

Erik has distinguished himself for his commitment to financial profitability, efficient operations, exceptional guest service and effective employee relations. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Erik holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Boston University and an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston.
