Upon arrival at the hotel’s legendary porte cochere, beneath a canopy flanked with majestic white columns and detailed millwork, arriving guests receive their first of many delights, a beautiful fresh flower lei of either exotic purple orchids or fragrant plumeria blossoms. Upon entering the hotel, guests are stunned by a breathtaking view of the beach and blue ocean through the umbrella of the historic banyan tree. As they approach the reception desk, guests are then greeted by an Ambassador of Aloha, a signature hotel associate who warmly welcomes guests and facilitates a seamless arrival and departure experience. The Ambassadors also explain the Service Express, informing guests of the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction during their stay.

During the check-in process, guests are presented with an oshibori, or chilled towel, and a glass of Moana Elixir (a cool and refreshing non-alcoholic welcome drink).  Thoroughly delighted and invigorated by their arrival experience, guests may begin to explore the many other wonders of the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort.
