| The Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort has launched a new weekend program that is a tribute to the hotel’s rich heritage combined with its Victorian romance. The public is invited to the Friday and Saturday evening programs, jointly called, “A Salute to Moana Memories.” Friday’s new program, Komo Mai to the Courtyard (Come to the Courtyard), offers a march of darling keiki (children) from bustling Kalakaua Avenue up the columned steps of the hotel and into the historic courtyard. The keiki present a complimentary keiki hula show on the Banyan Court stage. Following the exit of the keiki, conch shell blowers signal the entrance of the dramatic Tahitian fireknife dancer as he performs one of the world’s most spectacular dances. Throughout the evening, Puuhonua Trio performs wistful steel guitar melodies accompanied by graceful hula dancers. The Komo Mai to the Courtyard program is complimentary and offered weekly starting at 7:30 p.m. For dinner reservations at the Banyan Veranda, call the hotel dining desk at (808) 931-8383 or click here. Please note that the above scheduled events are subject to change without notice.
