Having been born, raised and educated on Oahu, Mitch Kam has a sixth sense when it comes to wowing his numerous clients and guests.

As the Banquet Manager for the Moana Surfrider, Kam's "passion lies in working with events from the moment the contract is signed until completion...my only job is to make them smile".  Kam's energy and dedication make him a vital partner in the Moana Surfrider's mission to turn dreams into realities.

Kam received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii. During his time at UH, he started as a bus-boy at the Historic Royal Hawaiian Hotel.  Kam quickly proved himself and took a promotion to become the Special Events Manager at the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa.  Throughout the next few years, Kam plowed through the ranks as an Executive Steward and Banquet & Convention Service Manager at Sheraton Waikiki to his current role as the Banquet Manager of the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa.

Mitch Kam has a passion and dedication for his profession that is a rare find.  When his job is to make people smile, he succeeds.
